4 Open House & Fireworks Display - Food vendors on site. Free admission; handicapped parking available. Bring lawn chairs/blankets. The fireworks show will begin at dusk. No personal fireworks allowed. No pets allowed. Shuttles available from Mattoon and Charleston.

12-13 Wings Program - This FAA Pilot Proficiency Award Program is designed to encourage general aviation pilots to continue their training. 24 Air Show 2013 - This is the 12th year for the Coles County Airport Authority's annual Air Show. The gates will open at 11am with the show starting around 12 Noon and concluding around 3 pm. Professional Air Show performances by: The static display area will contain: There will be Monster Truck rides and a children’s area with bounce houses. Helicopter rides are available through Central IL Air. Donations to help fund the Air Show will be taken at the entrance gates. We will have aviation vendors as well as food vendors on site. NO PETS PLEASE!!!!! ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING!

26 B-25 Rides – “Made in the Shade” will be at MTO August 26 thru September 3^rd selling rides in their B-25.

5 Bark for Life – This event is a canine event to fight cancer. Bark for Life is a part of Relay for Life in Coles County. All proceeds go to the American Cancer Society.
